To preserve it for transport, place the tooth in milk or your saliva. Then, immediately inform your dentist and head to the dental clinic as soon as you can. Depending on the degree of damage, re-implantation of the tooth may be feasible. This situation should be treated as a genuine dental emergency. Even if the incident happens outside regular working hours, you should try to contact your dental office. If you can't reach your dentist, seek help from the nearest urgent care facility or emergency department.
